Sometimes, when I look up, I see heaven. Scenes like this do that to me regularly. How about you?

I like to ride my bicycle, I like to ride my bike.....
We are back in Oregon. The weather has been sunny, warm during the day, and cool at night. Something I've been looking forward to is bike rides! And it is now the season to ride! Cruising around our neighborhood is one of my all time favorite activities. We can ride for hours and hours, until sundown sometimes, which, in the summer, is near 10pm. And suddenly we realize that the sun is going down, and no, we haven't even thought about dinner! We have discovered that Napoleon also loves to ride. He sits in Greg's basket with the wind blowing in his face and looks like such a happy little pup.
This summer, I not only want to cruise our neighborhood again, but I want to see more of Oregon on our cruisers. I want to hit the road and see where we end up! The first one I want to try is the Dorena Lake Loop. It's like, 32 miles, which I'm not sure how will be on a cruiser (except I know it will be a killer workout!), but it seems like a pretty moderate trail - not too many hills. And it goes all the way around Dorena Lake- so pretty! I'll be looking forward to that, and finding many others.
On another note....thank you to all of my friends and family for your condolences. It is much appreciated. I might talk about it here more, I might not...time will tell. But I do want to put out there that my mom is still trying to re-home some amazing pups! Well, they are large pups, but oh so sweet! So if you want a new member of the family, or know someone who does, hit me up PRETTY PLEASE!

In Loving Memory
On Monday, 4/30/2012, my step-father Jeff passed away. It was completely unexpected, and incredibly hard to process. I'm currently in AZ, here supporting my mom, and saying goodbye. It is so hard. All I can say right now is that I loved him. I hope I can be strong and say more later. Your love and support is greatly appreciated.
